Is Refinancing a Good Option

Is Refinancing a Good Option

Postby graceruskin » Sat Apr 30, 2011 6:55 am

I took a home loan 7 years back but, right now i find myself unable to pay off the loan amount as i have lost my job. I have taken out a 15-year ARM but now i find it impossible to arrange the monthly mortgage payments due to lack of income. I am a bit confused and i want to know whether mortgage refinancing will be a good option for me. I read some useful detail about it here http://www.mortgagefit.com/refinance.html . Please somebody suggest whether refinancing will be helpful.

thats a question I have been asking myself as well. I live in Kansas City and have been thinking about refinancing our house with my girlfriend. I found this article at a bank we are considering: http://www.nbofkc.com/lending/when-to-refinance.aspx.

Let me know any other sites or articles you find that would help.

best regards,

The best current rates will save you money, obviously if at the time of taking the loan, conditions were not so good. But there is a way to save money by refinancing your mortgage loan. One of the possibilities is to reduce the payback term. The rates affect a shorter period, meaning a smaller amount paid on interest, but payments are rather higher because the spread of the debt is shorter. If the resulting monthly amount is within your possibilities, you can go ahead.
