Vehicle expensing, Section 179
I've lost track of where things stand with the Section 179 and other depreciation methods for vehicles. Can anyone remind me?
Let's say < 6000 GVW case and > 6000 GVW case.
Assuming > 50% business use (closer to 100% with 2nd vehicle available), is it better to buy in business name, or personal and then lease to company?
Thanks in advance for any info.

I can't believe I didn't see this post earlier! Sorry!
If you have a vehicle over 6000 GVW, yes, you can take the Section 179 deduction up to $25,000. You need to own the vehicle (not just lease it) to get the benefit. So your business should probably be the one buying it.
